Summer Reading Challenge

This summer the Ruth Culver Community Library is going back to basics for the summer reading challenges.  All you have to do is read whatever, wherever and whenever you like! Register at the library or register online beginning June 7. More information and challenge materials will be available at the library.

Children's Challenge

Children of all ages, including pre-readers, can participate and all you have to do is read! Yes, just read! We want to encourage you to keep reading all summer long, anytime, anywhere, anything with words! Just sign-up and read a minimum of 20 minutes per day. Play PLINKO for prizes! You can also earn bonus slips for the grand prizes by reading extra.

There will again be a "give back" option. In lieu of a prize, children can choose to take some coins and drop them in the Big Belly Bank. At the end of summer reading, we'll donate all proceeds to the Sauk County Humane Society. Join us at the Sauk Prairie Community Center Monday, August 20 at 6:00 p.m. for the Grand Finale Give Back Celebration! Enjoy a presentation by the Humane Society with live animals and photo ops.
