iMaginative Mondays

All programs are free and no registration is required to attend.

All ages are welcome unless specified.

Programs will be held at Marion Park on the corner of First and Grand Ave.

Pop! A Comedy Noise Explosion

Welcome back The Noise Guy (Charlie Williams), all the way from Washington State!

Drumming

We'll do lots of drumming and create a drum to take home. Local teacher Jenna McCann will be our guest.

Earth, Music...Magic!

Bill Kehl will share his instruments from around the world, and kids can try them!

We'll write, direct, and act in our very own movie then watch it on the big screen! We'll make the movie from 1-2 and screen it from 2-2:30.

Bring your socks, shirts, or pillowcases and turn them into colorful masterpieces!

Come celebrate the end of summer with music, dancing, and games!

 

Children's Reading Program!

READ...Art, science, comics, fiction, fairies, sports, pirates...summer is the perfect time to get creative in your reading! Sign-up begins the day after school is out. The reading program continues through August 28. Prizes will be handed out as you complete each week's reading requirement of just 20 minutes per day! This program is open to rre-readers through 5th graders! We will also be doing random prize drawings for those who read extra! Stop in for your reading sheets and information or sign-up online!

Artist of the Week

Would you like to have your personal art creation displayed at the Library this summer? Stop in for a blank sheet of paper that you can create your work of art on! We'll hang it in a very special place and reward very special YOU for your artistic talents!
