Did you know?
- The number of items borrowed each year has increased from 67,284 in 1996 to 133,580 in 2007 - almost double!
- There were 41,257 books on the shelves at the Prairie du Sac Library at the end of 2007 - plus audiobooks, movies, music and more!
- Library cards were issued to 334 new customers.
- The library's internet computers were used an average of 63 times per day in 2007.
While the current library facility has provided a welcoming space since 1997, its 5,107 square feet are no longer adequate to best serve the needs of the community and their increased use of the library.
In 2008, the Library Board hopes to secure a location where the library will be able to meet the needs of the community for many years to come.
