Literacy Resources
Sauk Prairie Area Literacy Council
The Sauk Prairie Literacy Council serves individuals in the Sauk Prairie area who wish to improve their reading or English speaking skills. Individuals interested in having a one-on-one tutor can contact Heather Cole at the library at 643-8318 or can complete an application.
If you would like to volunteer to be a tutor, please contact Mary Ann Marx, Council President, at 643-8386. Training is provided. Interested tutors will be asked to complete a tutor registration form in order to be matched with a student.
Literacy Materials at Your Libraries
Literacy materials are available at both the Prairie du Sac and the Sauk City Libraries. Individuals wishing to take these items home need a valid library card.
View literacy materials available at the Prairie du Sac Library or search for literacy resources available in the entire library system. The following are links to popular literacy materials available through the local libraries. Contact or visit the library if you would like assistance in locating additional literacy materials. There are many other resources available!
