Refund Policy
The following policy is the uniform refund policy for all LINK libraries (this include all SCLS libraries that participate in the online LINKCat system):
1. The time limit for a refund is 6 months after the item has changed to a Lost status.
2. If a library* allows for replacement of Lost items in lieu of payment, these rules apply:
- All replacements are subject to director's approval;
- New and exact matcches only; and
- Patrons are still liable for fines or fees the library may assess.
3. If holdings have been discarded, refunds are subject to director's approval.
*Please note: Whether or not the purchase of a replacement item is permitted depends on the rules of the library that the item belongs to.
